For 17 years i lived my life the way i was told to.  For seventeen years I acted like something I was not.  For seventeen years I was a boy. But now I have come to realize that it is my life.  I have come to realize that the “barriers” that appeared so big to me, were just imagined by myself.  Yes there are still difficulties, and yes I have experienced hate, but I am finally happy.  I look at my life, and now see that I can do do whatever I want. I dont have to fit any gender stereotypes. I can do whatever i want and be as boyish or girlish as I want.  

I realize now that it truly doesnt take that much “courage to push yourself to places that you have never been before”.  What it does take is a decision that no one can make for you. You must decide whether or not to live your life, or to let the world live it for you.  It will probably be hard, but it will be better.  And hell with our tumblr community are we ever really alone?

A note for everyone who reads this. I dont care who you are. I dont care if I even know you and you are my enemy. You should be able to live your life how you want to. And if anyone gets in your way I will stand up there right next to you and fight for your right to happiness. Dont be afraid any longer.
